+ ba. 4 SF 7-855 PKS: ka ANALYSIS OF SURVEILLANCE CAMERA PHOTOGRAPHS The following analysis of the surveillance cam- era photogranhs taken during the robbery of the Hibernia Bank, 22nd and Noriega, San Francisco, California on Avril 15, 1974, was conducted by SA ay Photographs were taken by two cameras, designated camera A and camera B. Photographs taken by camera A show the tellers counter, bank lobby area, and east side of the bank entrance way. Photograohs taken by camera B show the area around the safety deposit recentionist counter, the entrance to the bank maneger's platforn, and generally the © west side of the entrance way of the bank. of the Hermann Safe Company, 1699 Market Street, San Fran- cisco, California, which services the Mosler cameras, used to take the below described vhotographs, has indicated that the ‘cameras are set to take pictures at the rate of four frames per second. The lens aperture on both cameras is set at £5.6, and the shutter speed is set at 1/100 of a second. The film utilized in taking the below described photographs was Kodak 400 Surveillance Film (Improved), having an ASA rating of 400. Computations of elapsed time are based on the rate of four frames per second, beginning at the time of activation of the camera. It should be realized that due to possible variation in the speed and possible errors in numbering prints, the elapsed times are provided only as an aoproximation. The set of photographs from camera B seemed to begin avproximately 1/2 second before the photo- graphs from camera A, so that frame A16, for example, de- picts the same action as frame B18.
