Com. —_ Taleghane Ra. st coerce @ This is to advise that the Los Angeles and San Francisco Offices have been instructed to immediately advise the Director in Kansas City of any pertihent developments. At 1:55 p. m. Coordinating Supervisor MEET of Los Angeles and at 2:17 p.m. San Francisco SAC Bates were advised if something of importance develops in this, they are to (1) call the Director directly in Kansas City or (2) in the alternative, call the Director and establish a conference call with FBI Headquarters. They were also advised that if they were sending a teletype with impo information to cut a copy for Kansas City, attention of the Director. N At 2:04 p.m. SAC Paul Young, Kansas City, was telephonicall advised that the above instructions were being issued and that immediately upon receipt of a teletype in this case addressed to the attention of the Director, it was to be immediately dispatched to the Director.
