and when his car was recovered, a second bag of groceries was
found in the automobile. BENENSON, who is employed at the

Investigation reflects that a second car followed
the Chevrolet convertible and this car was apparently occupied
by associates of the kidnapers. The best description available
is that this is a 1963 or 1964 Chevrolet stationwagon, light
colored, with no rack on the top.
Victim, PATRICIA CAMPBELL HEARST, described as:
A White female; date of birth 2/28/54; 5'3"; 110 pounds;
light brown medium length hair; fair complexion; mole on left
chin; scar on inside of lower leg near ankle. At the time of
her abduction she was wearing a blue floor length terrycloth
robe, solid color, with belt, possibly purchased as I. Magnin.
No shoes. Undergarments: No brassiere, underpants.
UNSUB #1 described as;
Male Negro, early 20's, 5'10", 160 pounds, short
natural hairdo, wearing fatigue jacket, dark pants, high brow
_ laced boots, carrying rifle.
