According to SUENAGA, one of the Negro males repeatedly - beat WEED on the head with the stock of a weapon, and that he too was hit several times by the same Negro male. Both WEED and SUENAGA were hospitalized as a result of the beatings. . Investigation refiects that a number of shots © were fired in Apartment 4 and outside of Apartment 4. Witnesses saw the Negro males forcing the victim into th ofa ossibly a white Chevrolet convertible. - advises that a 1963 Chevrolet conver , BENENSON, who lives at Ww istered to a. ENENS was recovered abandoned at tt Fane 25 Tanglew in which is eight to ten blocks rae. from the victim's residence. BENENSON is missing. His address 7 is in the vicinity of the victim's address and the police department had located on his lawn groceries scattered about and when his car was recovered, a second bag of groceries was found in the automobile. BENENSON, who is employed at the _University of California Radiation Laboratory, is singles lives: -alone, and is reportedly a reliable person. Investigation reflects that a second car followed the Chevrolet convertible and this car was apparently occupied by associates of the kidnapers. The best description available is that this is a 1963 or 1964 Chevrolet stationwagon, light colored, with no rack on the top. Victim, PATRICIA CAMPBELL HEARST, described as: A White female; date of birth 2/28/54; 5'3"; 110 pounds; light brown medium length hair; fair complexion; mole on left chin; scar on inside of lower leg near ankle. At the time of her abduction she was wearing a blue floor length terrycloth robe, solid color, with belt, possibly purchased as I. Magnin. No shoes. Undergarments: No brassiere, underpants. UNSUB #1 described as; Male Negro, early 20's, 5'10", 160 pounds, short natural hairdo, wearing fatigue jacket, dark pants, high brow _ laced boots, carrying rifle. SE over Ve . iErtyeet . Hote
