In connection with the above-captioned kidnapping, Gari sonia with the news staff of KPIX TV, San Francisco, contacted me at approximately 3:30 p.m. this date with regard to an alleged statement by Attorney General Saxbe linking the Symbionese Liberation Army with the kidnapping incident. *S0nRin wished to know if this information had been furnished the Attorney General as a direct result of information gathered by the San Francisco Office in its investigation of the kidnapping. At the time Sdnkin was advised that all statements regarding the investigation were being handled through ASAC Kelly in the San Francisco Office.
