pxaminer-Chronicle and its accompanying letter which fa
the same as the above-mentioned letter entitled "Open
Letter to the People”. A xeroxed copy of this envelope
is enclosed. This was recovered from a telephone booth
in an Arco station at Castro and Market Streets in San
Francisco.

(S$) 6 cards of latent prints from the telephone
booth mentioned . in the item above. .
(6) an enve lope addressed to the Oakland Tribune
and its accompanying letter which is the same as the above-
mentioned letter entitled “Open Letter to the People”. A
xeroxed copy of the envelope is also enclosed. This was
recovered from a telephone booth at the corner of 13th and
Broadway in Oakland, California.
(7) 16 cards showing latent lifts from the
telephone booth in Oakland and, in addition, two cigarettes
and miscellaneous matches which came from this telephone
booth.
REQUESTS OF THE FBI LABORATORY
The Laboratory is requested to review the enclosed.
cassette and make a voice-print comparison with cassettes -
previously furnished this matter and advise if a determina-
tion can be made that the unknown male on the enclosed cassette
is identical to one of the two unknown males talking in pre-
vious cassettes. The Laboratory is also requested to advise
that if the voice of the female believed to be the victim at
the end of this cassette can be identified as the voice of the
female in the two previous cassettes: furnished.
The Laboratory is also requested to furnish San
Francisco any further intelligence that may be discovered
concerning the recording, such as the make of the machine, .
Possible significant background noises, or possible peculiar ,
location where the recording may have been made. Lom.
