He indicated he was with the SLA and demanded $50,000 in smali denominations to be placea at @ site near Larede Air Force Base, Laredo, Texas, within 4@ hours. #H.: also demanded release of "the two brothers in San Quentin" anc stated that if his demands were met the victim would be released, Mrs. Hearst advised the cailer that the money would arrive at the earliesi by Thursday (2/21/74), at 7:00 p.m., via Messenger. Investigation indicat<>s nhone call made from a Laredo phone booth possibly located in a Lar as there was music in the background and the caller had tc speak loudiy. The San Antonio Office is conducting appropriate investigation and will cover the payoff area in ar effort to apprehené the unknown subject should he attemp: t: pick up a dummy rackage.
