The caller said that Miss Hearst was being held at the Grant Street address but would “not be there long.” Investigation by representatives of the RSO revealed both the Grant Street address in Edgemont and the llth Street address in Riverside contained no residences but are vacant liocts. The Los Angeles Office of the FBI offered services to both the Office of Special Investigations and the RSO, in their efforts to determine identity of the unknown subject. Both agencies indicated the services of the FBI were not needed at this time. Both agencies consider the February 22, 1974 call to be a false bomb threat and give no credence to the caller’ s claims on February 21, 1974, regarding Miss Hearst. Los Angeles will maintain contact with the Office of Special Investigations and the RSO for any information — Geveloped regarding unknown subject. ebruary 22, 1974 call was received by SA who, after, listening to a Sheriff's Office tape recording of the February 21, 1974 call, advised both voices were that of the same individual. ~ oti be 7. oh
