The questioner then renarked that this was interesting Since he was concerned about how the SLA could plan so closely. soe Ate From the foregoing, it is obvious why so much violence cae, is not only being carried out but apparently planned in the various . mae penitentiaries and jails in different parts of the country. Druken‘ts attention was called to a teletype which had been sent to the San Francisco Office on 2/20/74 where _ ”” that office was requested to advise Headquarters in the event additional manpower was pneeded to pursue the intelligence aspects - of this case, it being recognized that the criminal aspects must | ‘be given top priority attention for the purpose of securing the release of Patty Hearst unharmed if possible. It was suggested to- }Druken that the review of the material be made for the purpose, ; first of assisting in solving the kidnapping case, second for the © purpose of preventing, if possible, further extremist acts on the part of the SLA, and third for the pirpose of informant development to penetrate the SLA and related groups.
