WEED advised he thought “it. vould be wise to wait until she was at least twenty — “years ere and, as mentioned above, he stated they planned ~ . to be iavxied in June, 1974. ad boy friend in oe WEED advised he was planning on staying at the HEARST house until this. kidnaping is resolved one way or another, then he plans to get away for a while. WEED stated that since the kidnaping, he has gone to his apartment on Renvenue Street approximately three times, and each time he ig there he receives several phone calls and when-~he answers the phone the caller hangs up. He has not gone back to the /. apartment alone, but always brings a friend with him. When asked why he thought the kidnapers did not kill him, WEED stated they may have been trying to do so by hitting him repeatedly over the head with the Wine bottle. . when. asked if he has any theories about the kid-. naping, WEED replied that he did not have the faintest idea what the FRI tas to do, unless to maybe get information from " Rourceas or informants. . 7 : . ‘WPED advised that everyone at the HEARST house seemed vary depressed after the first communique from the kidnapers. WEED stated that the Symbionese Liberation Army gcemet’to think HEARST was synonymous with the Hearst Foundaticn.
