We have also heard from SAC Charles W. Bates ix San Francisco’ who is also receiving countless inquiries on the subject. oe _ I strongly feel that the news release previously submitted earlier today for the Director's approval be read by the Director at a news conference which we could set up this afternoon, _ I wo recom- _ mend that the Director make this’ statemént at 4:00 p.m. which would ae get the statement onthe 6:00 p.m. news. We would set guidelines that.
