Ou# San Francisco Office advised on 2/27/75, that John Vince Scott {nd Micki Scott were observed arriving San Francisco Inte national Sirport (SFIA) at 11:30 a.m., 2/27/75, via Pacific ee - .Southwest Airlines Flight 931 from San Diego. Scotts rented 1974 , Chevy from Trans Rent-A-Car, Burlingame, California. Scotts to return car to SFIA 3/1/75. Scotts drove to San Francisco and . thence to Berkeley, California, and surveillance efforts are continuing. Scotts lost in traffic in Berkeley. John Joseph Scott was served with a grand jury subpoena on 2/27/75, and a formal request for immunity has been sent to the . Department of Justice should he desire not to testify during his appearance before Federal Grand Jury in San Francisco on 3/6/75. 222.' i Department to advise by 3/3/75, concerning immunity. ie Our Las Vegas Office identified Jack Scott as previously arriving at residence of elder Scotts on 2/26/75. Scott and his parents were observed making phone calls from pay telephones and efforts to trace these calls are continuing. Jack Scott , Geparted McCarran Airport at 9:00 p.m. en route to San Francisco via San Diego, California. Our Philadelphia Office advised that J. Weiner appeared for interview 2/27/75, denied having seen fugitives and refused to ! answer questions concerning trips made by him to Scranton area i during Summer of 1974. Weiner desires future interview after i thinking things over. PH 4389-PCI advisea that John Joseph Scott has filed no Federal .f({income taxes for approximately ten years. Philadelphia Office recommends strongly that Jane Olmstead of Washington, D. C., . (girlfriend of PH 4389=PCI) not be interviewed in that such inter- view would adversely affect future relationship with source and ‘\ possibly divulge his identity. Source is scheduled to depart for. ‘ \Yran on 3/3/75. Efforts being made to locate fingerprints of oe Pennsylvania, farm.
