On 2/18/75, a Royal typewriter was obtained through a consent search of KRAVANJA's uncle, GEORGE NIETO. No latents of value obtained on typewriter and typewriting samples submitted to FBI Laboratory. Relatives of KRAVANJA interviewed and informa- tion set forth. On 3/3/75 KRAVANJA orally admitted to FBI that he typed 2 one-page letters during 12/74 and 1/75 on his uncle's Royal typewriter and sent them through the U.S. Mail to Mr, HEARST, in San Francisco, California. On 3/3/75 AUSS, NDO, Cleveland, authorized filing of a complaint charging KRAVANJA with violation Title 18, USC, Section 876, and recommended $50,000 corporate surety bond. Complaint filed 3/4/75 before U.S. Magistrate and warrant issued same date, On 3/5/75, AUSA, Cleveland, requested the filing of. amended complaint and on 3/5/75 amended complaint filed before U.S, Magistrate, Cleveland, and warrant issue@ same date.
