BUS 7-425 For the information of receiving Offices who -are not aware of the circumstances and source of enclosures, the following is being restated: On 3/4/75, at approximately 4:15 PM, ANN RANDOLPH HEARST, sister of PATRICIA HEARST, accompanied by one -DONALD ROBERT MOFFETT and GEORGE CLIPPERT BOOMER, attempted to enter the U. S. from Canada via the Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls, New York. They were stopped by U. S. Customs and during a routine search of the vehicie, a 1974 Mustang, which was subsequently identified as being registered to WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST, 123 tablets of speed were located. The vehicle was seized by U. S. Customs and ANN RANDOLPH HEARST and DONALD ROBERT MOFFETT were charged with a misdemeanor violation of the Federal narcotics laws by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Buffalo, New York. HEARST and MOFFETT were subsequently arraigned before U. S. Magistrate, Buffalo, New York and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond. All were interviewed and advised they have no knowledge as to the present whereabouts of PATRICIA HEARST or WILLIAM and EMILY HARRIS. Preliminary hearing set for 3/19/75. Enclosures represent items found during the search of the vehicle and persons of HEARST, MOFFETT and * BOOMER. ARNED AND DANGEROUS.
