The three of them et SCOTT's Volkswagen at the farm and they drove into Scranton, Pennsylvania, in WEINER's Volkswagen. a _ o : é H * ™ In Scranton, Pennsylvania, the three of them drove around for a while and eventually stopped at a place where they bought some ''Texas hot" hotdogs. A short time later while driving in Scranton, Penns lvania, they happened upon a football game at a stadium which WEINER believes was the Scranton Stadium. They all believed that this was a high school football gaine at first, but JACK SCOTT commented that there were too many blacks playing and therefore probably was not a high school game since there are not that many ‘ blacks residing in Scranton, Pennsylvania. They decided to watch the game and upon entering the stadium detemnined that * it was a minor league football game between Lackawanna and the Chambersburg Cardinals. WEINER recalled that it was &@ --- . “family night’ game and he, WEINER, was wearing a t-shirt t with words on the front side to the effect that the words favored the National Football League (NFL) Players Associatior. in their dispute with the National Football League owners. WEINER believed the t-shirt had words someting Tike “Liberty or "Freedom" for the NFL players. At some point during the evening, WEINFR believes he asked JACK SCOTT where the “people” had gone, referring, to PATRICIA HEARST, the HARRIS', and JOAN (INU). SCOTT responded that the “people” had moved. Also, during the * evening, the three of them discussed the possibility of buying or renting the farm that they had visited on July 2, 1974. WEINER believes either JACK or MICKI SCOTT comnented that they might see a real estate man about purchasing or renting the house in the future. It was indicated during the conversation that the farm could be used for writers such as the SCOTTs, WEINER, and others. ‘he three of them drove back to New York City after the football game and arrived in the early morning of the following day.
