DURING INTERVIEW OF EDWARD P, BOXER, BOXER STATED THAT HE WAS NOT AWARE OF WEINER*S CONNECTION WITH THE FUGITIVES UNTIL THE EVENING OF MARCH 11, 1975, WHEN VEINER TFLEPHONICALLY CONTACTED HIM AND APOLOGIZED FOR NOT. PICKING HIM UP AFTER A CLASS AT OBERLIN COLLEGE. IT wAS THEN THAT WEINER TOLD HIM VE WAS BEING INTERVIEWED BY THE FBI AND WOULD EXPLAIN THE MATTER TO HIM WHEN HE RETURNED TO THE RESIDENCE. BOXFR STATED THAT AFTER THE FBI*S INTERVIEW OF WEINER IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF MARCH 12, 1975, WEINER TOLD HIM ABOUT HIS SEEING — PATRICIA HEARST, EMILY HARRIS, WILLIAM HARRIS, AND AN ORIENTAL FEMALE ALLEGEDLY WANTED BY THE FBI, AT NO TIME DID WEINER STATE WHERE HE SAW THESE INDIVIDUALS. WEINER INDICATED THAT HE HAD TOLD THE FBI EVERYTHING THEY WANTED TO KNOW, DURING BOTH INTERVIEWS, BOTH SMOOT AND BOXER WERE QUESTIONED aS TO ANYONE ELSE WHO MIGHT HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF STATEMENTS MADE BY WEINER REGARDING HIS SIGHTING OF PATRICIA HEARST, AT WHICH Piden >: Oa tnt +
