Las Vejas Office advised that efforts by Bureau Agents to serve Mrs. Louise Scott (Jack Scott's mother) with subpoena met with negative results. Mr. and Mrs. Scott departed in their automobile for unknown destination (presumably to San Francisco to honor Mr. Scott's grand jury subpoena). Cleveland Office advised John Brawner Smoot and Edward P. Boxer (close associates of harboring suspect Jay Weiner) interviewed 3/17/75, in presence of their attorney in Elyria, Ohio. They stated in effect that Jay Weiner had discussed with them his meeting with Patricia Hearst, Emily Harris, William Harris, and an oriental female (wendy Yoshimura) allegedly wanted by the FBI. \ ’ Denver Office advised that Ann Roberts (good friend of Jay Weiner and Jack and Micki Scott while at Oberlin College) -was interviewed 3/18/75. Ann Roberts advised that Weiner had related to her that on 7/2/74, he (Weiner) had been taken by persons he preferred not to name to a mountain farmhouse ‘where he was introduced to Patty Hearst and Emily and Bill Harris. Newark Office advised that on 3/19/75, Phillip Shinnick {close associate of Jack Scott) was charged with a subpoena for appearance before Federal Grand Jury, San Francisco, 4/10/75. Shinnick stated that he had nothing to say concern~ ing this matter.
