In this regard, John Clements, Washington representative of Hearst, stopped by my office at 3 p.m. this afternoon and posed the questions. They are as a {1} In connection with a reward, what would be a . useful amount of money? =; ‘ . {2} Where should the money be deposited and in whose F name? rf . (3) Is it intended that the money go to a number of people or in one piece to the FBI? “ . v4 . . “ -& (4) Who will make the payments and in what way? {5) Would it be agreeable that whatever monies of the reward are left at the end of .30 days will be returned to Hearst? {6} Because of the tax situation, would the Hearst Corporation get any sort of receipt to support this disbursement of funds? , _ {7} Should there be any restrictions by Hearst or the FBI on payment of reward money.
