In the last tape she sounds Like an “‘automaton", provably reading a preparcd script and speaking in a voice and tempo that does not at all appear to be comming originally from within PATRICIA HEARST. a :::: sed that to reiterate his opinion, he feels that up and including the point in time where she participated in the last tape, she is being motivated out of fear for her safety and would cease and desist from her participation in the tapes and whatever else she is doing with the SLA if she was, in fact, able to make her own choice.
