Nearst and sets forth as subject “Your dauchter Patricia Hearst". The writer of the letter explained that he represents an association of self-defense arouvs for Cerran industrial and rusiness people who out of personal interest have taken the initiative to quard against radical takeover of Cerran law and freedAor, The writer stated that due to a series of coincidents, his group has keen able to ascertain the present whereabouts of | Patricia and he stated that she is currently in the Cerman Pemocratic Pepublic (Fast Germany). The writer stated that at the sare time, hovever, he was sorry to advise the Hearsts that their dauchter currently has joined a terrorist group whose aim it is to commit violent acts in Yestern Furope. We further vointed out that it was also learned that Patricia has recore a drua addict and he explained that this inforration vas furnished to his aroup ky a cerroforator who formerly was a memher of the terrorist aroup rentioned above but who, after much trouble and a considerarle amount of physical torture, escaped to the West and has furnished the above information, The letter pointed out that considerina the circumstances, Patricia was all riqht. The writer continued to state that in order not to endancer Patricia's safety, no action by his aroup had been taken, and_he further pointed ont that he did not wish to disclose Patricia's exact whereabouts, as it would he pointless to attempt any diploratic approach to the problem as the Corrunists are uncooverative and furtherrore, Patricia has been formally charged with hank robbery.
