. On 7/3/74, at 3:31 a.m., a man identifying
Vf. himself a telephonically contacted FBIHQ from the
Franklin Park# TITingis, City Jail, where he adyised he had been
incarcerated for two hours being charged with not paying $17 to
a cab driver. QP sdvised that at imately 12:00 Mid-
night, this date, he“had helped capture erred who he
identified as "the professional football player." He said that
was currently being held by the Cook County Sheriff's
Orfice, Chicago, under the alias of Mr. T. Chicago and that
was also in possession of a driver's license bearing the
ast name of White, also accused gm of being the
“head of the SLA in Chicago."

the details as to where the SLA is located in Chicago from him.
He also advised that he had in an earlier call notified the
Chicago Tribune of this information. When asked if he had fur- h
nished this information to the Chicago Office of the FBI, he
stated he had not on this occasion but previously had tried to
furnish information about the Hearst kidnaping and was unsuccess-
ful and this time he thought he would contact Washington and
start from the top down.
