This report does not include the results of the
FBI; Laboratory Specimens Q1382 ~ Q1512 submitted by Los Angeles.
Enlargements were made from selected frames of the
{99h and Q995 rolls of bank surveiliance film and es of
6/18/7h, these were being furnished to San Francisco under
Separate cover, The requested examination will be conducted
on Q994 and Q995 and a separate report submitted,
The Q105. typewriter and the typewriting on Q20
through 023, Q32 through Q39, Q163 through Q171, Q178 through
Q181, Q183, and Q991, previously submitted in this case, and
the typewriting on Q29, previously submitted in the SLA case,
does not contain sufficient individual identifying characteristics
to permit identifications (as previously pointed out by the
Laboratory concerning the questioned typewriting on these items),
However, no characteristica were observed which would indicate
any typewriter other than Q105i was used in the preparation of
this questioned typewriting.
Specimens Q1011 and Q1012 (pieces of rope). are being .
retained in the Laboratory for possible future comparisons,
Debris from the Q105) typewriter is also being retained.
For your assistance, significant similarities were
observed in comparing the Gog signature on Q1055 with
the available purported Imown writing of EMILY HARRIS, K5,
k6, K8, K9. and K20, which indicates this signature may havs
been prepared by her. It will be necessary to have additional
voluminous writing by HARRIS before a more adequate comparison
can be made. Also it should be noted that the available writing
of HARRIS does not contain hand printing for comparison with
questioned hand printing on Q1055 and on other items submitted
in these cases.
Nothing of particular significance was observed in
comparing the questioned writing on Q1055 with comparable known
or purported known writing of other individuels submitted in
these cases,
Although the test of the Q1076 tape is extremely short,
spectrographic (voiceprint) and aural examination of the
— unknown voice revealed a lack of similarity with voices of
SLA members on previous tapes.
