HARRIS was driving his van, was PATTY HEARST. He stated that the male stated to him when they ti.ccred the van,~/Pc you knew _-. who this is? This. is TANYA," and both individuals smiled. 7 MATTHEWS stated that he had heard PATTY EEARST's voice on numerous radio and television broadcasts that contained recordings of the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) demands and -Statements. He added that he had seen numerous photographs of PATTY HEARST in the newspaper and on television for the past_ three months. MATTHEWS and he immediately selected the photograph of PATRICIA | HEARST as the white female who was introduced as. He advised that HARRIS had short bleached or peroxided blond hair and a brown Fu Manchu mustache and goatee. He described PATTY HEARST as a white female, 20 to ' 25 years old, 5'6" tall, wearing a dark brown or black Afro- type wig, having small perfect teeth, and a sinall mole on her lower right chin. | . ; MATTHEWS stated that he did not report this information during the first interview because the white male that he tentatively jdentified as WILLIAM HARRIS stated, "Don't screw us up ‘cause we know where you live," when HARRIS was preparing to leave the van upon the return of the two females with a different vehicle.
