IS YY - 1 Sen nd | FRANK RICHARD SUTTER, white male, 54 years of age, 2519 Carmen Crest Drive, Los Angeles, California, telephone number 374-8420, owner.of F, R. Sutter Company, Incorporated, 5439 Fountain Avenue, Los Angeles, Californie, telephone num- ber 452-6973, was reinterviewed at approximately 11:00 p.m., May 17, 1974, at his residence. SUTTER later accompanied the Agents in @ Bureau vehicle in an attempt to retrace the route his abductors took while he was under their control. Efforts to icentify the apartment house visited at approximately 7:00 a.m,, were unsuccessful, SUTTER stated be has lived at his current address for only tyvo weeks and is not as well acquainted with the area as an established resident would be, SUTTER furnished subst previously provided to SAgs recall the following additi6na the seme information He did, however, Shortly after the group commandeered SUTTER's car, they made it known they were dissatisfied. They talked of finding another vehicle, and at one point the female driver, believed to be EMILY HARRIS, exited SUTTER's car with the intention of stealing a replacement. She returned a short time later saying only that she had been unsuccessful, In mid-morning, after repeatedly driving about, first in one direction, and then in another, SUTTER's abductors stoppec at an unknown service station where they then obtained a Los Angelcse street map, They drove a while longer, apparently still in the same generel area, before someone commented that they could not find Gage Street, Based on the fact that Gage Street is located well to the south of central Los Angeles, FRANK SUTTER assumed that the unknown persons were ettemptin to find a south Los Angeles address, , The male member of the grouo spent considerable time looking through the Want Ad Section of a newspaper (possibly the "Los Angeles Times"), and made the coment, "It Los Angeles, California -y, 4 Los Angeles 7-1607.
