_ B. Black Culture Association
The Black Culture Association (BCA) was
a "self-help" organization formed to assist
black inmates to rehabilitate themselves.
The aims of the BCA appeared to be bonafide
and most members seem sincere in seeking help.
There is evidence that attempts were made to
infiltrate the BCA on the part of some militant
individuals as well as some outside visitors,
es who came to the prison to attend meetings.
Members of the SLA used the BCA meetings to
make contact with prisoners.
WILLIAM TAYLOR HARRIS made application to attend
BCA meetings at the California Medical Facility at Vacaville,
California. .
