Date of transcription ___Auqust 5, 1974 - advised that in about fF wud @ was adiven to quns hv to seli at the San Jose Flea Market,-inasmuch as be was attempting to sell other itmes at the same time. He recalls one of the items ‘that qave him was a .30 caliber carbine rifle and the other item a .45 caliber Army pistol. aid that he did sell the rifle for approximately $75 to a white male. He further descrihed this individual as aporoximatelv ace 35~4N, height 5'8", weight 29-220 pounds {overvweiqht with a "pot hellv"), larae arms, hair brown, receding in the front, possihlv had: tattoos on his unner arms, did not wear glasses, and was from Makland, California. said that when he sold the cun, he obtained from the buver identification in the form of a California Driver's License which he recalled was in black and white and had a photograph, a YankAmcricard, and a Gold Account Card from the First "ational Bank.
