Resume of Investigative Activities cond istéd by During the preceding month the Salt Lake City Division has been conducting investigation as set forth in Bureau airtel to Albany, 93/26/74, including contact with criminal and security informants, day labor, temporary employment services, auto rental agencies, and camping supply outlets where copies of wanted flyer 475A have been left. Inquiry at Utah bureau of Motor Vehicles discloses that \ since May, 1974, the State of Utah has issued 59,752 driver's licenses, but records of these licenses are maintained on microfilm and an examination of the photographs of r persons appearing on these licenses would require the develop- ment of 59,000 photographs thereby making such an examination not feasible. . As self-initiated investigation, Salt Lake City Division has been examining in detail the background of - BARRON CHARLES BRODNAX, an associate of EMILY HARRIS. BRODNAX was arrested, charged, and convicted, Salt Lake City, Utah, in April, 1967, following several strong arm robberies and an armed robbery committed at a local tavern. BRODNAX was sentenced to a term of imprisonment in the Utah State Penitentiary for a period of 5 years,to life.
