Since 10/2/74, Denver Division has eliminated a number of persons who have obtained passports subsequent to the shootout in Los Angeles as being identical with PATRICIA HEARST or the HARRISes. A number of former students at Indiana University who attended at the same time as the HARRISes have been contacted and cooperation promised by each. i tionally, 48 informants in the Denver Division have been con- ‘ tacted and shown the photographs appearing on Wanted Flyer \ 475A with directions that these persons remain on the alert for j!< appearance of subject this division. i On 10/31/74, this office received a copy of a commmi- cation from two Denver Patrolmen to the Intelligence Bureau, Denver, Colorado, Police Department. These Patrolmen reported having answered a stolen automobile report on 10/25/74. They met a party at Regis College by the name of resident at this college. He advised that the c&r he was , reporting stolen belonged to ANN RANDOLPH HEARST, who is . attending Regis College under the name ANN RANDOLPH.
