Telephone Re. | . : . 7 - {Director See'y —— As may be recalled, on 5/17/74, a raid was conducted _. at 833 West 84th Street, Los Angeles, California, by our Los Angeles ° SWAT Team. This raid was under the direction and supervision of ADIC, -Los Angeles and was assisted by a SWAT Team from the Los Angeles f Police Department (LAPD). This residence was raided in an attempt to i? effect the arrest of members of the Symbionese Liberation Army who 4 . had been identified as residing at this location. This raid preceded the Symbionese Liberation Army | shootout on 1 5/ 17/74, -on East 54th Street directed by the LAPD. . | SAC, Los Angeles, by / ietter, copy attached, has submitted ° an SF-95, also attached, signed by the owner of this residence to recover for damages caused to the house during the raid. The damage is shown as to interior walls, ceilings, and floors which would entail replacing with drywall and tile, painting interior and exterior, and replacing damaged siding. Additionally , damage was done to doors and windows co and checking of plumbing and electricity throughout. The claim is for’- = ~~~! ys ' $6,985.
