SUCCINCT RESUME OF INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITY OMAHA DIVISION DURING MONTH OF NOVEMBER, 1974. The following investigation was conducted by the Omaha Division in captioned case during December, 1974. On 7 12/3/74, lowa State Sheriffs and Deputies Association held their annual convention at the Ramada Inn in Des Moines, Iowa. This convention was attended by 15] officers from 87 counties in Iowa. The Hearnap case was discussed by a Special Agent f of the Omaha Division at this convention for thirty minutes. Wanted Flier 475A, as well as FBI Police ‘Bulletin, Volume Il, Number 8, dated 10/4/74, were furnished to each officer in attendance. Half of the sheriffs in attendance took extra copies of the above mentioned items for other officers of their departments who were not in attendance at the convention. — 21D 4 Printing, 201 Washingto reet, Water ‘ ska, advised he had addressograph plates covering each and every new and used car dealer in the states of Iowa and Nebraska.
