McDermott to Mr. Jenkins,. -dated 1-21-75, captioned as above, details were set forth concerning an interview of Mr. Kelley on 1-22-75 by Harry Reasoner . concerning our investigation in the Hearnap case. This interview would be aired on or about 2-9-75 on ABC-TV's "Reasoner Report.” |, On 1-21-75, Mr. True Phillips,. representing the "Reasoner Report," furnished a series of 11 questions which will be posed of Mr. Kelley. It is noted that Mr. Phillips stated that he is willing to alter or delete any of the questions which are not acceptable to Mr. Kelley. Mr. Phillips indicated that he will arrive at FBIHO y at 11:00 a.m., 1-22-75, in order to prepare for Mr. Reasoner's arrival and the taped interview with Mr. Kelley at 11:30 -a.m. Attached are the Li questions’ ‘furnished by Mr. Phillips together with proposed answers by Mr.-Kelley. These answers were prepared by the External Affairs Division in coordination ‘with the General Investigative Division. No answers are set forth to questions 10 and 11 because it is felt that by the nature of the questions, Mr. Kelley may wish to answer them in his own words.
