Source and Agent are booked#separately on flight and will proceed individually to Las Veggs motel to prevent detection. During flight layover ingfPhoenix, Arizona, source will telephonically con- tact parens (Mr. & Mrs. John Scott, Las Vegas, Nevada} to- announce a al. Source advised prior. telephonic contact. with parents has not disclosed any suspicion re source's visit. Source also stated Jack Scott is contemplating move to. Phoenix, Arizona, for undisclosed business reasons. Las Vegas Office will provide discreet 24-hour fisur at. the above Scott residence during source's stay in that Division. Las Vegas has been instructed by FBIHQ to exert extreme caution re jE. On 5, Cleveland Office advised suspect Jack Scott h een on Oberlin C Oberlin, io, during afternoon 2/13/75. Source unable to determine reason for visit but is continuing efforts to ascertain same. Mode of Scott's travel unknown to source. San Francisco {SF) reported 2/14/75, the Ryder Ford Econoline van which PH source advised Jack Scott. had rented for transporting. Patricia Hearst from East to Las Vegas, Nevada, on or about 9/27/74, has been located. SF is processing the van for latents and physical evidence. General: Investigative Division, Computer Systems Division, SF, Los Angeles, and PH continue to analyze Lb records of craseeserna eas = on = a: Walton a , Oregon) ? John and Louise Scott (Las Vegas, Nevada); PH source's uncle, Walter Scott: (Scranton, Pennsylvania), Jay Weiner fh (PH, Pennsylvania), and other individuals attempting to trace travel C=: <=> which could locat: the remaluing fugitives in this case.
