Concentrated and extensive efforts continue to interview
remaining harboring suspects.
Attached San Francisco Office (SFO) teletype dated 2/26/75,
advises that SAC, SFO will contact Mr. and Mrs. Hearst and
inform them that "We have good information to indicate the
whereabouts” of their daughter as late as September, 1974, and
that aggressive investigation regarding her current whereabouts
is continuing. SFO feels this can be done on a strictly
confidential basis.
Our Las Vegas Office (LVO) advised that a subpoena was served
on 2/26/75, on John Joseph Scott at his residence and that prior
to issuance of subpoena, unknown male individual arrived at
Scott's apartment at 1:36 p.m. Based on available photographs,
LVO identified this individual as Jack Scott, younger son of
"John and Louise Scott.
Our Portland Office advised that Jack Scott boarded Western £
Airlines (WAL) Flight 700 to Los Angeles 2/26/75, utilizing
American Express Credit Card and then on WAL
Flight 449 to Las Vegas. Scott reportedly will return to.

Philadelphia Office (PHO
contacted PHO and will be available for interview at 5: CO p.m.,
2/27/75.
“Physical surveillance of key suspects, telephonic toil
analysis, penetrative interviews and vigorous fugitive investi-~
gation is continuing. -
