One was a white female recognized as PATRICIA CAMPBELL HEARST. The second, an Oriental female, appeared to be identi al with WENDY YOSHIMURA. Ss The two females were toid $i ae «=. freeze." They were told to "freeze" a second*time and, although YOSHIMURA complied, HEARST continued to move, at ich time HEARST was told that if she did not “freeze, I'11 blow her head off," . peferring to YOSHIMURA. At this point HEARST complied, and both females raised their hands above their heads. a " YOSHIMURA waS.ordered to move across the room and to open the door which she did, while HEARST continued to hold her position near the north: door of the kitchen area. The officers entered’and handcuffed both females, and both acknowledged their identities as WENDY YOSHIMURA and PATRICIA HEARST. They were both asked if there were any other persons on the premises, and they stated there were not. They were asked if there were any explosives in the residence, and | they stated“that there were none. | As they were moved through. the premises,to.verify the fact that there was no one else _ present,.they*were asked if there were any weapons on the pre- mises, and, HEARST volunteered there were two bines in the ‘west closetxoff.the; front bedroom. When SA ane... unable -to observe these weapons, HEARST advised tha ey were hanging -— under the clothing.
