The FBI's 59 Field Offices and 15 toreizn
liaison posts are directed and coordinated by FBI
Headquarters in Washingion, D. C., which con-
sists of 13 divisions.

provide prompt investigative service and wide

The FBI maintains un active program of
recruitment of black Americans, Spanish-surnamed
Americans, American Indians, and Asian Aner-
icans for positions throughout the Bureau. Also,
the FBI is continuing its efforts to attract women
for the Special Axent position.
The FBI incentive award program serves to
recognize exceptional achievements, above-aver-
age perforninces, and upproved suseestions
throwzh monetary awards. During Fiseal 1975,
1,593 incentive awards were granted amounting to
$277,509. In uddition, 682 quality salary in-
creases were awarded to emplovees for sustained
above-average performance,
