openly denounce the B.LeA. nd. other revolutionaries are actually t oe i} Durimg the last 8 or 9 months, many black activists have been arrested or murdered by government| agencies s which have claimed they were fighting the Black Liberation Army (B.L.A.) The governnent and the press have been trying to create a huge wave of hysteria throughout the country about "terrorists" by creating the image that revolutionary and freedom fighters from Palestine through Northern Ireland, Angoia, Chile, Cambodia, Harlem, and Wounded Knee are bemb-throwers who are a threat to the lives of many people. The real terrorist is the U.S. government, which showed its true face in the genocidal Vietnam War. The government is using the climate of hysteria created by the press to justify the killings, jailings and beating by BOSS (N.Y. city's gestapo squad), STRESS (Detroit's death squad), the FBI and all the stat and local police.. The hysteria campaign by the government and the press has tried to isolate the revolutionary forces from the American people to deny ‘them support when they are killed or captured. Eleven brothers and sisters were busted this August in New Orleans. Six of them are on the streets, again, 2 of them are in Parrish Prison and 7 are charged ‘with being members of the B.Ler. They are Harold Taylor, Rueben Scott, John Bowman, Herman Bell, Barbara Gage, Joanne Allen and Jud¥ O'Neill Bell. Herman and Judy Bel]. underwent torture in the form of 'cattle prods to their genitalsj. beatings and stompings'. : Many other black activists have been arrested, some .mrdered, by police in recent months. WE MUST SUPPORT THE BLACK BROTHERS AND SISTERS RUTHLESSLY BEING. ATTACKED BY THE GOVERNMENT UNDER THE GUISE OF UNCOVERING THE B.Les- Like all poor and working pecple, these sisters and brothers = - have to live .under a decaying capitalist system which oppresses trough racism, sexism, poverty, drugs, 2 hours a day, all their lives. They are supposedly part of an undergound that exists. The government doesn't know who belongs to this underground or how it works. They either kill orarest anybody they feel may be involved, especially people of color. At the present time people around the world are defeating the U.S. government and its allies. It is suicide for the progressive and revolutionary forces within the U.S. to allow the government to isolate groups and defeat them one by one.
