T’m sure you have been thinking a lot about Yolanda.
She's gone through some wonderful changes since we first mete
Both of us have grown repidly in the last year, we've had to.
While our relationship is certainly different than it has been
in even recent times, the changes have all been good gnes» We
are learning to be revolutionaries and the process is pmaking
us both stronger. The reasons we have for loving each other
are far more important than those that seemed to be the basis
for our bourgeois marriage. Whereas we do not take a |position
that all marriages ere bourgeois or that’ monogomy in 211 forms
is reactionary, we no longer consider ourselves to be "married".
We try not to even consider ourselves a “couple”. This is not
ao much an ideological condition as it is a practical way. of
dealing with the special conditions of engaging in urban guer~
rilla warfare. Though we do not engage in exclusive personal
relationships, our daily lives do not include "sex orgies".
We view sex as a basic human need and try to deal with it on
the level of comradeship and understanding. We see the so-
called "sexual revolution" es just another form of capitaliss
exploitation, where people are reinforced to use each other
rather than learn to develop a mutual capacity to love. The
"revolution of sex" is in reality the exploitation of "meat"
where Madison Ave. piggery exploits the enslaving aspects of
sexual myth and fantasy. ,
As a matter of fact, due to our far greater need to
remain vigilent and bs constantly training to eliminate our
tndividual and collective weaknesses, we probably are.less
active sexually than most so-called "normal" people. .Ye sut

fixations on quantity.
We do not consider ourselves to be a movement for
cultural revolution, even though this country certainly needs

strategy ig to bring about a revolutionary war. Through the
élimination of the capitalist ruling class, all its agents,
institutions and value systems we will gain the freedom to
carry out @ cultural revolution. Therefore, we do not consider
our present lifestyle to be a model for the future, because the
people will decide this for themselves.
I wish we had the freedom to talk about these things
in detail. I'm sure you have many questions. I imagine you
are still worrying about us and to this I can only say thet
we are doing cur best to ensure our survival and speed cur
victory. It will be very difficult, at this time, to commun-

try my hardest to keep you informed. As long as I am free you
will know that I am well, for the things you worry about hap-
pening will certainly make the cavers. I am very much in ¢es2-
