SYMBIONESE LIBERATION ARMY TACTICAL SUPPORT UNITS — To successfully fight the enemy, urban guerrillas must be organized into two main categories. The first is the combat unit, whose main responsibility is to fight, The second is the tactical support unit, whose pri objective is to insure the success and survival ef the combat unit. Without fighters, the people would be defense- less against fascism and there would be no revoluti war, and without support there would goon be no fighters. Each depends upon the other for its survival and freedom, Each cell of the Symbionese Liberetion ‘s tactical support units may be composed of elements of ether organi- zations and ups as well as individuals. Tactical support can be provided in many categories and on many different levels. In some instances, a group of as many as 10 persons may make up a tactical support cell. Other units may have as few as one individual. Categories of tactical support are: Medical: Treatment of injured, aick and wounded. Education and training in emergenoy medical treatment.
