Some comrades must Ggitate anong the exploited workers in the factories, mines, fields and among the unemployed. Some engage in community struggles around welfare, education, human rightes ohild care, medical oare, the aged, youth, women and raciam.e. Those who engage in mane work of this tyne prove they are rere uttenary and not reformist i reminding the people that only through unity and revolu- tionary armed struggle will they seize their freedom. These revolutionaries understand that comrades who engace in armed struggle are fighting in the interest of the people and therefore must be supported. The fighters know that they need the people's support to survive. Ail revolutionaries, not {uot the fighters, must be propared to fight. Aa & result many combat elements wild coma from the ranks of the taotieal support unite. Some may never fight because their support skills are too valu- able to the revolution; but they st111 will be prepared to fight if necessary, if only to defend themselves. A revolutionary need not be in combat to see clearly that & war io in progress. When one arrees with the strategy of the Bymbionese Liberation Army, it beoomes impractioal to also follow the egotistical aspirations of some leaders of above- ground politioal organizations who Genouncée armed struggle and continue to organize new orpanizations everytime one fajis apart, failing to underetand that the people must be organized to fight the enemy; and when leaders fail to start the fight, the peopla become demoralized and fail from that organization. Leaders who behave in this way, are reactionary, of = tistierl, opportunist and anti-revolutionary, sinoe their aotions allow only for the continued grouping and re- grouping of the same revolutionary people for the fight hat never oomed. Cne must organize in support of somethings one does not organize in support of having or belonging to an organ- fzation.
