SAC Hood called this afternoon to advise that his office %: une ———
was making spot checks on Hans Eisler, that they had stops at the te Fenniagror—
banks, airports and other places on him but that they did not heve Tele. Room =
him under twenty-fcur hours surveillance and that they would not be tis RET
able to guarantee that he wouldn't leave there without a full time
surveillance, which would require the time of six men, that he, Hood,
did not believe that this would be Justified.
I advised him that I saw no reason for a full time surveillance
an
that I thought a spot surveillance with the stops he had placed would be’
sufficient.
