The Los Angeles Division subsequently advised by teletype that, according to information received from an informant, HANS EISLER was plan- ning to remain at the Algonquin Hotel, New York City, for five days until Dece» ber 2, 1947. The purpose of his trip was to confer with JOSEPH WALTERSCOSEY eon- cerning the msical score for the play "Galileo". HANS EISLER was reliably re- ported to have prepared the musical score for this production.
