HENRY JNORVEB, the American Ambassador, and the Minister of Aviation, the tess, and an aide-de-camp. President PRADO was not at the airport. There; were present approximately 2,000 people, Peruvians and Americans, all high officials of the Peruvian _ drmy and Navy, along with the officials of the U. 8 Air and Marine Missions in their dress uniforms, Also on hand to greet Mr. WALLACE was the Chief of Protocol. Mr. WALLACE received a twenty-one gun salute fired by the Peruvian Army, and a full troop of mounted full-dress cavalry was present. From the Limatambo Airport, the Vice-President was driven to the residence of the American Ambassador at Schell 210, in Miraflores. Immediately upon his arrival at Mr. NORWEBts home, Mr. WALLACE held & press conference during which his comments were very general, concerning his _ * small view of South America prior to that.time. He commented that he - thought Lima was a beautiful city and that he was proud of the reception - given him eat the airport.
