Since Surine discusses just sbout everything he
knows with Fd Wellor, I asked Nellor if he had heard any
rumors about allegations of a meeting Between Wallace and
some eUdvere tye agent tn PAtTadeIphiac” Nellor atated-he
hadnt, however, he would call Surine and see if he had
heard anything. He called back shortly thereafter and
| satd Surine stated he had never heard of any such rumors.
This morning, Wellor stated he had asked Courtney
Owens of _the House Committee on Un-American Activities tf he
had heard of any such rumors. Owens told hin he had heard
a@ rumor around the Hill and he believes Matthew Cuetic had
discusséd a meeting between Reaty-Bal dwin, Henry. Wallace ,
and Leo Kritsky (ph.) who was supposed to have been a Sovtet
agent and who was now out of the country and was connected
with the American Slav Congress.
