With further reference to the captioned individual, this is to ir. Hendon
advise that through the technical surveillance on the Maritime Committee lr. Jones
in Washington, D.C., it has been learned that an unidentified woman, who rele. Room

oO personal appointee of Bridges, and in lirs. Bouslog's absence advised Frances

~ onight7 (1-25-45) at 5:00 p.m. atthe Carlton Hotel to coordinate our activi-
. ties in support of wallace." Subsequeytly on the-same day kiiss Fraber, who
7 identified herself as being from Henry wallace's office and who thay be iden-
~ tical with the individual who called ars. Bouslog, contacted Hoyt\Haddock, the
legislative representative for the NMU in Washington, D. C., who h&Ss been
reported by numerous sources. to be a member of the CPA, and advised Haddock
‘oy that she was working with a group at the Carlton Hotel, coordinating the
: terial for the Senate fight on the wallace issue. in addition, she in-
vited Haddock to attend the same meeting mentioned above, which invitation
he accepted and said that he would attend if possible, and if not, someone
N from the Maritime Committee would be there.

_ of the American Communications Association, had received djwire from Philip
~. Asurray, President of the CIO, in which Murray instructed tMat the Presidents
"all CIO unions should contact their Senator to confirm the appointment of
. Henry wallace and to oppose the George Bill which would divorce the Recon-
struction Finance Corporation from the Commerce Department.
