SPONSORS
The Highlander Folk School has been successful in obtaining
the permission of many important persons to use their names as sponsors
of the school, itself, or some of its activities. The most important name
from the standpoint of publicity which they have secured is that of
EL non) RoosHvEL. Exhibit No, 26 is correspondence in the files of Mr.
C. =. HILBY. In this exhibit it will be noted there is a report from some
unknown person three paragraphs in length on an investigation conducted
concerning LES HORTON, Exhibit No. 25 also contains on the front page
a printes Sony of a letter directed by ELEANOR ROOSEVELT to the Highlander
Fru School, Exhibit No. 27 is a photograph of a mimeographed sheet
put out by the Highlander Fcik School publicizing Mrs. ROOSEVEIT'S support.
Exhibit No. 28 is a photograph taken from a newsranor
article which published a phetustat of the check ano letter wmch she sent
te the Highlander Folk School in 1940. Exhibit Ne. 27 is being forwarded
with all letters sent out by the Highlander Folk Scnool asking for con-
tributions from other persons.
Exhibit No, 29 is a photograph of an announcement scent out
by the Washington Committee of the Highlander Folk School about 2 benefit
