You will recall under date of December 10, 1950,
Hyles#adorton, Director of the Highlander Folk School, wrote
lbs a letter to Assistant Director KH. H. Clegg to which he attached
sed a statement of the purpose, program and policy of the -iigh-
wee lander Folk School which was approved by the Executive Council
Leet of that school on April 3, 1950, and a press release gf the
school dated November 20, 1950. In his letter to Ur. Clegg,
Eorton indicated that a Special Agent of the Bureau had
