Re: Request of Mr. Nichols of
the Bureau of Air Commerce
for laboratory examination.
<< if Mir. Nichols of the Bureau of Air Commerce of the
Department of Commerce phoned and asked 1f he could bring
over certain exhibits in thédindenburg Case for laboratory
examination. He wanted to bring the exhibits over personally
and I told him that this would be all right but I suggested
that he direct a letter to the Bureau making a formal request
for the examination in order that it might properly be of
record.
