The article reported thet Government professor
HOWARD ZING and the other speakers spoke to some 159
persons and thet on the platform was a representative of
the Younz Socialist Allianee (YSA) and the Chairman of
Harverd Students For a Democratic Society (SDS). In his
speech ZINN said he was uncertain and unhappy when ne
hears friends speaking about the need to reconsider our
Vietnen policy because the United States is losing. He
stated that the administration has not “reorkented its
thinking” to accept the “very diverse, complex world, ~
dowiinated by neither Communismtor Capitalism. Professor
ZINN cited 2 "long tredition of American protest’ and
asked that citizens carry it on by writing letters and
speaking out azeinst the aduinistration's conduct in
Vietnau.

that local adult peace sroups, including the Massachusects
Political Action for Peace (MPAP), the American Friends
Service Comittee (AFSC) and the Woaen's International
Leesue for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), were planning to
