P DEPARTIET OF STATE Y WASHINGTON n reply refer to c 510.5 E ia/ April 24, 1935 ly dear Mr. Attorney General: There 1s transmitted herewith copy of # note, dated April 1%) 1935, from the Minister of Austria, inviting this Government to designate delegates to attend the eleventh reguler meeting of the International Criminal Police Commission which will take place at Gopenhagen, Denmark, from June 17 to 20, 1935. I would appreciate receiving your views a6 to the desirability of accepting this invitetion and, in the event of a favorabie reply your recommendations as to suitable delegates who would be willing to attend the meeting without expense to this Department. In connection with the forthcoming meeting, your attention is invited to my note of March <6, 1935, transmitting a statement concerning the purpose and activities of the Internationel Criminal Police Commission, together with a copy of the resolutions vassed at the tenth mecting of the Commission which was held at Vienna in September, 1934. There is no record of this Government baving been represented at.the tenth 6r previcus meetings of theGomnission.
