Report No. 10, attached, entitled "Propossl concerning the
teration to the statutes," subaitted by c sub-committee
as shown on the report, wan sdo,ted on the afternoon of
June 16, 1937.

for a Crime or any Other Icageroug Conduct Hevealing Criminal
Int ventions," prepared by br. Bruno Schults. There *Es
conciderzble serisonious discussion anong the various delegates
concerning this particular report, with the Italian, austrian,
Hungarian, French und Belgian delegates leading the discussion.
Upon the insistence of certein of the delegutcs, motion 1 at
Page 11 of the revort wus not consicered and it was agreed
that only motion 2 vas to be voted upon, together wlth the.
suggested anendment by the President of the Commission to the
effect that "individual nembers i. thelr own countries may use
tieir lufluence in having the above idea adopted and mention
the discussion had thereon at the Thirteenth Meeting of the
Internationel Criminal Police Commission." The friction between
the Austrian and French delegetes was oerticularly noticeable end
a eub-comnittee was a,sointed to reconsider motion 1 and to
report individually thereon to the officials of the Conaission
within four months.
Motion 2 of this report was not adopted unless considered on

This particular report should prove of especial Intercst to
the Pederal Bureau of Investigation, U. S. Department of Justice,
and & cosy thereof has been furnished that Bureau, for ite

of Crinae in Lithuania," properecd by Monsieur Petras Panateitis,
Chief of the Criainal Police of Lithuenta, Kaunas, Lithuania,
wos a "courtesy report" and was not texen up for report by the
Commission unless considered on June 11, 1937.
Report No, 13, attached, entitled "Exchange of Information in the
Suppregsion of Crine," prepared by Lonsieur Petras Vanataltis, wes
read end etiopted on the afternoon of June 10, 1937. This resort
should prove of interest to the Federal Bureau of Invostigation,
U. &. Departnent of Justice, and a copy thereof hus been furnished
thet Bureau for its information by the United states dcolegate. |
