Thus far they have not been able to collect the Commission account in Germany and are, therefore, dependent upon current dues. The French Government has contributed 2,000,000 francs; the Commission headouarters are furnished free of charge by the French Government, and the salaries of the eight permanent employees are paid out of funds of the Surete Nationale (Ministry of Interior).
